Football Victoria Geelong is proud to announce the 2026 Geelong Representative Squads, with 191 players selected across 14 teams following a strong trial process earlier this year.
The representative program continues to showcase the depth of talent across the region, with players selected from clubs right across the Geelong football community.

Players selected represent a wide range of clubs across the region including Corio, Golden Plains, Barwon Heads, Drysdale, Leopold, Ocean Grove, Geelong Rangers, Bell Park, Surf Coast, Barwon, Armstrong Creek, North Geelong, Geelong City, Geelong SC and Colac Otway, highlighting the strength and diversity of football talent throughout the Geelong region.
A Year-Long Development Program
The Geelong Representative Program is designed to provide talented players with the opportunity to further develop their skills in a high-quality training and match environment while proudly representing the region.
Throughout the year, squads will train fortnightly at their new home base, Howard Glover Reserve in East Geelong, providing a central location for players to come together, develop connections and prepare for competition.
Key Tournaments in 2026
Across the season, teams will represent Geelong at three major tournaments across Victoria:
⚽ Western United Cup – April
⚽ Country Championships – King’s Birthday Weekend in June
⚽ Shepparton Cup – October
These events bring together some of the strongest regional and metropolitan teams in Victoria, providing players with valuable competitive experiences while representing their region with pride.
