At the beginning of each year, Expressions of Interest are sought for players around the region who are keen on competing as part of the Geelong representative squads. Following the selection process the squads undergo a staged training program as they prepare for their upcoming tournaments.
Traditionally, Geelong teams have competed annually in the FV Country Championships “Country Champs”. In 2024, we extended the selected players and coaches by entering them into additional tournaments across the State including female teams playing in the Western United Cup in Ballarat in October, and male teams playing in the Mt Eliza Cup and Shepparton Cup. Players will once again be entered into these additional tournaments in 2025.
In 2025 our representative squads are composed as follows:
- U12’s, U14’s & U16’s Girls and
- U11’s, U12’s, U13’s, U14’s & U16’s Boys
