The CommBank Matildas will finish the 2024 FIFA Women’s International calendar in Victoria with a two-match series against Chinese Taipei in December.
At the announcement on Friday 13th September, Chair of GRFC Mike McKinstry said, “It was fantastic to be part of the Matildas’ announcement today. We had great representation from Geelong, including players from Geelong Galaxy, Corio Soccer Club and Deakin Ducks who thoroughly enjoyed the event! Football is booming in Greater Geelong, with player numbers up 20% year on year, reaching 6,500. This growth is thanks to the hard work of our local clubs, so a huge shoutout to all the club officials, volunteers, and players for their dedication.”

Tickets will go on pre-sale for Football Australia Account Holders on Thursday, 19 September at 10.00am AEST with General Public tickets available on Friday, 20 September at 4.00pm AEST. Tickets from Ticketmaster.
Prices will start from $16 Junior, $19 Concession, $29 Adult, and $89 Family.
