STRIP DETAILS
It is the responsibility of Away Team to ensure no clash of colours. Both Clubs please bring both kits to ensure there are no clashes on match day and fixtures are played.
Please refer to the Game Day -Team Information, Playing Strip, Coach and Team Manager Nomination User Guide to update your team strip information in Game Day, refer page 5 of the 2024 Club Handbook for more guidance on playing attire on match days.
FV also strongly advises clubs to read Law 4 -The Players’ Equipment of The IFAB Laws of the Game – Under Law 4 regarding strip Colours:
The two teams must wear colours that distinguish them from each other and the match officials;
Each goalkeeper must wear colours that distinguish them from the other players and the match officials;
If the two goalkeepers’ shirts are the same colour and neither has another shirt, the referee will allow the match to be played.
FV will provide Clubs the opportunity to go into Game Day and update their strip information. Please have this completed by 9am 25th April 2024 for FV to formulate a Strip Report. Please ensure that for Round 1 of fixtures you have checked the oppositions strips via their website, social media or relevant club contacts to avoid a clash.
Should any Clubs have concerns over strip clashes for round 1 please reach out as soon as possible.
DISPENSATION REQUESTS
FV are unable to accept dispensation requests via email. Please ensure requests are submitted via the Dispensation Request Form, in line with the FV Dispensation Policy.
We are trying to process as many requests as possible for Round 1 however it is important to note that late submissions may not be eligible to play in Round 1.
As per the Dispensation Policy, to be considered to participate in an upcoming fixture the application must be submitted 7 days prior to the scheduled fixture date. Any application submitted less than 7 days prior to the scheduled fixture may not be processed in time thus meaning the player would not be considered for that specific round.
